There is a high standard of medical services and facilities available throughout Lockhart Shire including a modern and efficient Hospital, Aged Care Accommodation, Medical Centre, Pharmacy and regular visits from a variety of specialists.

A number of ancillary services are also available including Community Nurses and Home Nursing Services.
